Rick Meghiddo is an architect and filmmaker of documentaries, mainly on architecture and the arts. Award Winner of the Sidney Australian Film Festival 2022, the Dubai Film Festival 2022, and the Budapest Film Festival 2022. In 2021 he won a Gold Special Mention in the Arte Non-Stop Film Festival of Buenos Aires. His films won Official Selections in Buenos Aires, Madrid, Berlin, Paris, Nice, Kyiv, Zagreb, and Palm Springs film festivals.
Born and raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina, he lived and worked in Rome, Tel Aviv, Los Angeles, and Long Beach.
Director Statement: In this film I tried to capture some aspects of the city’s complexity, mainly through some of its contemporary architecture and its art scene.
Always Unfinished
The film takes as a point of departure the exhibition of Anselm Kiefer's "Exodus" at the Gagosian Gallery in L.A., staged in January 2023 at the Marciano Foundation, to inform viewers
about the artist's thoughts and working method.
